Hot Air Balloon Safaris
A birds-eye view
It really doesn’t matter where you look: the view from a balloon above the savanna is to die for. Vistas as far as the eye can see. Herds and individual animals dotting the landscape. Plus the remarkable feeling of being airborne in such an extraordinary way
Each flight gives you a remarkable perspective on the Bush and its wide horizons. Taking off and landing are thrilling but safe experiences, the latter leading to a Bush champagne breakfast. Then, with the whole day ahead, you can continue your adventure through a full day game drive or return to camp for a leisurely morning.

Tribe Visits
We highly recommend a visit to a Masai manyatta (village), Hadzabe (bushmen), to gain a rare insight into one of Africa best-known traditional cultures. Our relationship with local tribal elders has built trust and an agreement to allow us privileged access to authentic living history, perpetuated in the villages which your safari program can fit in.
A tribal visit opens the door on a unique way of life and set of traditions. Your tour guide will drive you to the village where villagers ceremoniously receive you as a respected visitor. Having been introduced, a host will give you a tour of the area, explaining the lifestyle and what lies inside one of their huts. Your tour guides remain with you throughout the experience to help with communications. As a standalone visit, or in combination with a visit to other attractions around the area, this is a wonderful way to reconnect with a living culture – one that links all of us to our shared African past.
