You’ll visit the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, plus three different areas of the Serengeti / Mara ecosystem, where you can try to track down the Great Migration of over 2 million large grazing animals. The Serengeti is likely the most famous wildlife area in the world and rightly so, with the Great Migration, large populations of big cats, dozens of different species of mammals and a stunning array of birds.
The trip is designed to visit the best locations during this famous River Crossing season, with a relaxed pace and ample time to view the fascinating behavior of animals. It utilizes classic under-canvas camps that have been specially designed to cater to serious wildlife viewing, with flexibility for meals in the bush and avoiding crowds.

- The safaris listed below are samples, and can be customized to suit the clients’ preferences.
- All safaris can be extended to include a Zanzibar trip or a Kilimanjaro climb.
- Price ranges are given based on the number of people in a group and are based on a minimum of two people. Safari vehicles can generally carry up to six passengers; the price will be lower if the vehicles are relatively full. Single supplements are in addition to the quoted price for all safaris.
- We use Toyota Land Cruisers as our safari vehicles. These are the most comfortable, reliable and tough vehicles available for driving in the African bush.
- Prices do not include international flights. All air fare quotes are subject to change and carry penalties and surcharges. Flight confirmation is based upon availability. Add-on fares are available from other cities. Business class fares are also available. All prices shown are in US dollars. Reduced rates are available for children below 12 years old.
- Unless otherwise specified, our safaris end with transfer to either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport late on the last day. If you need to travel on an early flight, it will be necessary to book an additional night in a hotel and leave the next day, which we will gladly arrange for you.
- Extra activities such as night game drives, bush dinners, balloon rides in the Serengeti, walking tours etc. can be arranged for an extra charge unless otherwise specified on a particular itinerary of your choice. Let us know in advance what interests you, and we will make every effort to accommodate your wishes.
