This safari has been custom designed to provide the quintessential Tanzania safari experience – staying under canvas and traversing wide open plains teeming with animals in amazing quantities.
The safari is focused on having the highest quality wildlife viewing, with top guiding (we ‘name’ your guide and provide a biography when you inquire) and time to view the fascinating behavior of animals.
The itinerary covers the top locations to complete a classic route of the Northern Tanzania circuit. The accommodation was selected to be in the preferred locations of our guides to maximize the quality of wildlife viewing in each park. The accommodation was also selected to provide the best value, tending toward mid-range luxury level with emphasis on stellar locations, attentive service, and comfort in traditional safari tented camps.
We love to share our passion for the wildlife with our guests and take pride in our ability to locate the Great Migration, big cats and so much more. Once located we like to spend quality time to patiently observe wildlife so that you can see the unique behaviors that make the natural world so fascinating.

- The safaris listed below are samples, and can be customized to suit the clients’ preferences.
- All safaris can be extended to include a Zanzibar trip or a Kilimanjaro climb.
- Price ranges are given based on the number of people in a group and are based on a minimum of two people. Safari vehicles can generally carry up to six passengers; the price will be lower if the vehicles are relatively full. Single supplements are in addition to the quoted price for all safaris.
- We use Toyota Land Cruisers as our safari vehicles. These are the most comfortable, reliable and tough vehicles available for driving in the African bush.
- Prices do not include international flights. All air fare quotes are subject to change and carry penalties and surcharges. Flight confirmation is based upon availability. Add-on fares are available from other cities. Business class fares are also available. All prices shown are in US dollars. Reduced rates are available for children below 12 years old.
- Unless otherwise specified, our safaris end with transfer to either Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport late on the last day. If you need to travel on an early flight, it will be necessary to book an additional night in a hotel and leave the next day, which we will gladly arrange for you.
- Extra activities such as night game drives, bush dinners, balloon rides in the Serengeti, walking tours etc. can be arranged for an extra charge unless otherwise specified on a particular itinerary of your choice. Let us know in advance what interests you, and we will make every effort to accommodate your wishes.
